Trestles in Orange County is pretty much close to a perfect wave and is definitely one of the best places to surf. What could be wrong with that? Well here comes the biggest lie: It’s not crowded!!! Well there is good news: The best beaches with uncrowded waves may not actually be in California as you know it. But wait! Maybe you’re thinking, “but I live in California, how am I going to get to these waves or find out where they are?” Have no fear! there is an answer! We love surfing in California but love finding and surfing the uncrowded waves that are still being discovered. We found that it was going to take some work and time to locate the best surf and it would be even harder to monitor when it was going to happen. Luckily, groups or companies like Surfline have made it much easier to find this information. This isn’t anything new. We are sure there tons of our fellow surfers who check the surf report first thing in the morning! The problem is time, it still takes your time to pay attention to all the different surf reports. So maybe you could add a surf alert? That solves the problem, but wait, it still takes time to monitor the alerts. Time is everything ans surfing should be fun.
